Thanks to the integrated hinge in the back frame, the housing can be folded to the side if needed, for example in order to easily carry out assembly work in the back area of the cabinet. There is a sliding cable inlet with foam rubber seal in the roof of each cabinet. The back wall and floor plate are equipped with pre-cut cable inlets with a plastic cover. In addition, the back frame is equipped with brush management panels on the top and bottom. To accommodate a fan module, the roof structure is also equipped with a pre-cut area. One pair of galvanized 483 mm (19”) profile rails labeled with rack units readable in both directions are installed on the inside. Their depth can be adjusted. The back frame also has a 483 mm (19”) perforation. Each cabinet is made of up to 1.5 mm thick sheet steel. Coloring is done with electrostatic powder coating in the standard colors gray (RAL 7035) or jet black (RAL 9005). Removable and lockable side walls in a modular design as well as lockable and removable front door improve accessibility. The door hinges can be switched. Wall installation is accomplished in two easy work steps: The housing frame plate is bolted on the wall to open in either direction and then connected with the housing. With optionally available levelling feet or casters, the wall housings from the Unique series can also be used as a free-standing unit.

The varioFLEX cabinets are made for high demand IT-Infrastructure solutions - designed and developed on highest standard for maximum stability and flexibility.
- Maximum stability and flexibility - High load capacity of 483 mm (19") profile rails of up to 1200 kg - Very modular design with changeable 483 mm (19") blank panels in roof and base
The new varioFLEX cabinets are designed and produced for cabling and networking components. Our planners and designers came together to create a special 19” cabinet range never seen before. Due to specific optimizations, the varioFLEX series offers maximum stability and flexibility for every need. The front door consists of a complete metal frame with 4 mm tempered safety glass, reinforced with metal fixings which give extra stability. Server cabinets are equipped with 80% perforated front and rear doors. A special lock system is present on front as well as rear doors. Cabinets with 800 mm width are equipped with a double opening back door incl. 3-point locking mechanism. 270° door opening angle ensures best accessibility at all times. All side panels are lockable and equipped with two pieces of snap latches each, for easy removing. Every cabinet is equipped with galvanized 19” profiles mounted on the front and rear side, which are connected to the main frame on depth bars from three points left and right each. They are adjustable in depth and with height unit marking. The roof as well as the bottom is equipped with 19” dimensions blank panels (4U + 8U = total access of 12U)which allow any 19” assembly and are easy to change with other accessories like vented panels, brushed panels, sliding entry panels, etc. Cabinets with 800 mm width are outfitted with brushed cable entries all the way of depth on the left and right sides of top and bottom. Furthermore the 800 mm width cabinets from 32U are pre-configured with vertical cable management panels with a special fixing unit to the main frame, separated from the 19” profiles. Overall the main frame of varioFLEX cabinets is reinforced due to injected aluminum corner joints which give extra stability. Moreover they have heavy duty uprights, extra bended for high load capacities and the availability to assemble cable management rings.

Two pairs of galvanized 483 mm (19”) profile rails labeled with rack units readable in both directions are installed on the inside. Their depth is adjustable and they are connected to additional depth bars in the cabinet. Each cabinet is made of up to 1.5 mm thick sheet steel. Coloring is done with electrostatic powder coating in the standard colors gray (RAL 7035) or jet black (RAL 9005). Side walls and doors that can be locked or removed in a modular design improve accessibility. The door hinges can be switched. Furthermore, the cabinets can be completely dismantled if necessary due to their collapsible design.

Inlets in the roof and floor equipped with brushes (starting with 26 rack units and a cabinet width of 800 mm), a sliding inlet in the floor structure with foam rubber seal and brush management panels on the back above and below the rear door (starting with 26 rack units) enable versatile use in a wide range of application scenarios. Vertical cable channels with brackets installed next to the profile rails (starting with a cabinet width of 800 mm) round off the design. An offset, removable cover with ventilation slits ensures enhanced air circulation. This features a special design for easy mounting of a fan module.
