The installation of perforated sheet steel doors in such variants ensures improved passive cooling of the installed components. For example, a model defined by DIGITUS® as a server cabinet is supplemented by rear PDU brackets in the standard configuration of the Unique Server-N series.
Digitus Server Rack Dynamic Basic Series - 600x1000 mm (WxD)
The DIGITUS® Dynamic Basic Series is made for high demand IT-Infrastructure Solutions - designed and developed on highest standard in Germany
- Roof is prepared for fan units (punched out entries) - Lock system with pivot lever on front- and rear door - Base with punched out cable entry, covered with screwed metal plate
The 483 mm (19”) cabinets from the Dynamic series were developed for easy and especially cost-optimized network expansion. Clever placement of the cable inlets ensures effortless installation for every application. They are located at the back center in the floor structure, protected by a bolted cover plate. Cabinets from a width of 800 mm also feature cable inlets with a plastic cover to the left and right. These are also integrated into the roof (1 x for 600 mm cabinet width, 3 x for 800 mm cabinet width). To accommodate a fan module, the roof structure is also equipped with a pre-cut area. Two pairs of galvanized 483 mm (19”) profile rails labeled with rack units readable in both directions are installed on the inside. Their depth is adjustable and they are connected to additional depth bars in the cabinet. Each cabinet is made of up to 1.5 mm thick sheet steel. Coloring is done with electrostatic powder coating in the standard colors gray (RAL 7035) or jet black (RAL 9005). Removable side walls as well as lockable and removable perforated front and back door improve accessibility. The door hinges can be switched. Furthermore, the cabinets can be completely dismantled if necessary due to their collapsible design.

- Roof is prepared for fan units (punched out entries) - Lock system with pivot lever on front- and rear door - Base with punched out cable entry, covered with screwed metal plate
The Racks of the Dynamic Basic Series were designed for the user friendly installation of active- and passive network components accompanied by a neat cable management. Each rack consists of up to 1.5 mm strong steel sheet material which ensures a very good stability as a robust steel construction due to special plate curving technique. The color is created by powder coating in grey (RAL 7035) and black (RAL 9005). For certain conditions, where the set-up location is difficult to reach, the rack can be disassembled. Doors can be easily detached and the door stop can be changed from right to left. Furthermore the roof is ready for the mounting of an air ventilation unit. Each rack contains 2 pairs (4 pieces) of 483 mm (19”) profile rails inside which are galvanized and with height unit marking (countable from both directions). They are variable in depth and connected with additional depth support bars to realize extensive 483 mm (19”) equipment installations. An important aspect for each installation is the cable management. The base of each rack is equipped with a punched out cable entry covered with a metal plate, whereas the base of 800 mm width racks gets extended with additional punched out cable entries with plastic covers left and right. These are also placed in the roof (1x for 600 mm width cabinets, 3x for cabinets from 800 mm width. An extensive portfolio of accessories for cable management, shelves, etc. will help to meet many requirements in daily use.

Inlets in the roof and floor equipped with brushes (starting with 26 rack units and a cabinet width of 800 mm), a sliding inlet in the floor structure with foam rubber seal and brush management panels on the back above and below the rear door (starting with 26 rack units) enable versatile use in a wide range of application scenarios. Vertical cable channels with brackets installed next to the profile rails (starting with a cabinet width of 800 mm) round off the design. An offset, removable cover with ventilation slits ensures enhanced air circulation. This features a special design for easy mounting of a fan module. Side walls and doors that can be locked or removed in a modular design improve accessibility. The door hinges can be switched. Furthermore, the cabinets can be completely dismantled if necessary due to their collapsible design.
