The Network Racks of the Unique Series were designed for the user friendly installation of active- and passive network components accompanied by a neat cable management. Each rack consists of up to 1.5 mm strong steel sheet material which ensures a very good stability as a robust steel construction due to special plate curving technique. The color is created by powder coating in grey (RAL 7035) and black (RAL 9005). For certain conditions, where the set-up location is difficult to reach, the rack can be disassembled. Doors can be easily detached and the door stop can be changed from right to left. The roof is present with an added lid which contains air ventilation slots for a better air circulation. Furthermore the roof is ready for the mounting of an air ventilation unit. Each network rack contains 2 pairs (4 pieces) of 483 mm (19”) profile rails inside which are galvanized and with height unit marking (countable from both directions). They are variable in depth and connected with additional depth support bars to realize extensive 483 mm (19”) equipment installations. An important aspect for each installation is the cable management. The base of each rack is equipped with a sliding cable entry panel with rubber sealing. Racks from 26U are equipped with two cable entries with brush strips on the rear side above- and underneath the door. For cabinets with 800 mm width, the possibilities of cable management get enhanced with additional cable entries with brushes left and right in the top and base chassis. Furthermore there are mounted vertical cable ducts with shutter left and right to the 483 mm (19”) profile rails in the front (on cabinets from 32U and 800 mm width). The network cabinets from the Unique series were developed for especially convenient and flexible network cabling. Inlets in the roof and floor equipped with brushes (starting with 26 rack units and a cabinet width of 800 mm), a sliding inlet in the floor structure with foam rubber seal and brush management panels on the back above and below the rear door (starting with 26 rack units) enable versatile use in a wide range of application scenarios. Vertical cable channels with brackets installed next to the profile rails (starting with a cabinet width of 800 mm) round off the design. An offset, removable cover with ventilation slits ensures enhanced air circulation. This features a special design for easy mounting of a fan module. Two pairs of galvanized 483 mm (19”) profile rails labeled with rack units readable in both directions are installed on the inside. Their depth is adjustable and they are connected to additional depth bars in the cabinet. Each cabinet is made of up to 1.5 mm thick sheet steel. Coloring is done with electrostatic powder coating in the standard colors gray (RAL 7035) or jet black (RAL 9005). Side walls and doors that can be locked or removed in a modular design improve accessibility. The door hinges can be switched. Furthermore, the cabinets can be completely dismantled if necessary due to their collapsible design.

The slide rails are used to support heavy installations in DIGITUS® network enclosures of the Unique & Unique Light series and server enclosures of the Unique Server-N series. They are attached to the front and rear 482.6 mm 19" profile rails. Made of galvanized sheet steel and loadable up to 100 kg. The rails are infinitely variable in depth to adapt to individual spacing in the 19" level.
